Sena 誕生於1995年，由智利酒業領軍人物 Eduardo Chadwick 與美國葡萄酒大師 Robert Mondavi 攜手打造，旨在釀造一款能展現智利頂級潛力、媲美世界一級名莊的旗艦之作。酒款以波爾多混釀為藍本，融合智利代表性品種 Carmenere，並於阿空加瓜谷以生物動力法種植，展現獨特風土個性。

2017 年份氣候炎熱且生長季提早，產量較低，造就酒體集中且結構強勁的風格。酒莊距離太平洋僅約 40 公里，受惠於海風調節，使葡萄在高溫條件下仍能保持優雅的酸度與清新感，達致力量與細緻之間的完美平衡，是一個兼具深度與精準度的優秀年份。

Sena 2017

Sena is an iconic Chilean wine born from the visionary partnership between Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi in 1995. Conceived as a Bordeaux-style blend with a distinct Chilean identity, Sena showcases the unique character of Carmenere, cultivated under biodynamic principles in the Aconcagua Valley. The estate’s coastal proximity, just 40 km from the Pacific Ocean, plays a vital role in shaping the wine’s elegance and balance.

The 2017 vintage was marked by a warm and early growing season with low yields, resulting in wines of remarkable concentration and structure. Despite the heat, cooling Pacific breezes moderated temperatures, allowing the grapes to achieve optimal ripeness while preserving freshness and tension. This vintage stands out for its precision, depth, and harmonious balance between power and finesse.

“As a bright garnet red colour with beautiful violet sparkles, the 2017 vintage of Seña unfolds with attractive aromas of blueberries, cherries, cloves, violets and cassis, framed by soft pastry notes and a delicate final touch of liquorice. On the palate, it is juicy, fresh and lively, with tannins that provide structure and support, leading to a wine with remarkable persistence and personality, and excellent ageing potential. This is perhaps one of the most complete and definitive versions of Seña we have crafted so far.”
