2018 年份亮點

2018 年被視為一個完美的年份。氣候條件罕見地全面配合，充分展現風土的最佳面貌。春季降雨量達 230 毫米（遠高於平均的 154 毫米），土壤儲水充足。1 月（通常為最熱月份）卻涼爽多雲，保留絕佳酸度，避免葡萄曬傷。整體熱量總和僅比平均值高出 1%，葡萄成熟完整，風味濃郁，酒體兼具力量與優雅。

品飲筆記

酒液呈現美麗的寶石紅色帶紫羅蘭色澤。香氣迷人，散發紅櫻桃、黑醋栗、黑加侖利口酒等紅色果實香氣，並伴隨淡雅的塔皮、堅果與烘烤咖啡氣息。入口酸度清新，提升紅果風味，隨後展現香料與蒔蘿、迷迭香等香脂香氣。單寧質地極佳，酒體飽滿，餘韻持久，層次深邃。

Viña Errázuriz's flagship wine, named in honor of Don Maximiano Errázuriz, who founded the winery in 1870 in the heart of the Aconcagua Valley. Don Maximiano Founder's Reserve represents our legacy, tradition, and continuous quest to create the best and most elegant wine based on Cabernet Sauvignon, while also reflecting the finest terroir of the Aconcagua Valley. It embodies the visionary and pioneering spirit that has endured for six generations, consolidating Viña Errázuriz as Chile's benchmark for quality and image among fine wines, recognized by critics worldwide.

2018 Vintage Highlight

Considered a perfect vintage. Rainfall between May and October reached 230mm (significantly above the 154mm average), providing substantial soil water reserves. January—typically the hottest month—was cool and cloudy, preserving excellent acidity and preventing sunburn. Total heat summation ended just 1% above average, resulting in complete maturation, intense flavors, and a unique balance between power and elegance.

Tasting Notes

Beautiful ruby-red color with a violet hue. The aroma captivates with red fruits—cherries, blackcurrants, crème de cassis—framed by light notes of tarts, nuts, and roasted coffee. The palate offers refreshing acidity that heightens the red fruits, followed by spices and balsamic notes recalling dill and rosemary. Tannins are extraordinary in texture, with tremendous body and great depth, making for a very persistent wine.
